SCMEC Signed an Amicable Agreement with Syrian Employer

Through the more than one year negotiation, today, SCMEC signed an amicable agreement on the Tishrin Hydro Power Plant with the Syrian Employer, in which SCMEC has been entrusted to execute the following two aspects by the Employer:

1. Two new contracts: One contract is concerning the computer system upgrading and the other is concerning the technical reform, including the blade crack treatment, unit uplifting treatment and renovating the new governor.
2. Treating the remaining work of Tishrin Hydro Power Plant:

Meanwhile, according to the Agreement, the Employer promised to make their effective efforts at the Ministry of Irrigation and related authorities of Syrian Arab Republic to sign the satisfied Contract with SCMEC for design, equipment supply and installation of Balikh Hydro Power Plant.

The signing ceremony was held in the conference hall at the top floor of Celebrity City Hotel in Chengdu, China. The Minister of Ministry of Syrian Irrigation, the General Director of the GOLD （Employer ）, General Director of GOED and the President of SCMEC, Mr Yao Yuning were presented at the ceremony.
